What are we learning in chemicals

What are we learning in chemicals?

Particle theory is the six rules of particles these are the six rules. these rule help determine how a substance will behave.

- all matter is made up of particles
- all particles in a pure substance are the same
- there is space between all particles
- particles are always moving
- there are attractive forces between particles
- temperature affects the speed at which particles move particles e.g fast-moving particles are hot and vice versa

Diffusion: Is the movement of particles from areas of high concentration to low concentration.
e.g perfume, or like if you add CO2 and O2 (in a matter of seconds).

Aim: To observe the effect of temperature on the speed of diffusion.
hypnosis: hot= fast cold=slow
method: we added potassium permanganate to hot and cold water at the same time to see how fast the diffusion would happen.

The explanation: the hot water moves the die much faster than the cold one it did this because the particles in the hot water were moving much faster because of particle theory rule number six and also because there more heat = energy.

sustainability

In sustainability, we have Learnt what sustainability is and how to sustain
our planet for all life. Why animals and plants go Instinct A example is
deforestation all types of pollution and that is only two examples but we as
humans are getting better to sustain our planet for not just Are good but for
all animals and plants. 360° Videos | National Geographic.

Also, we had to do some games with dragon cards, it was fun as well
after we got the hang of how to play. We were in groups of 2-4 with
classmates or just our friends. The card game was sort of challenging
but it was also a good game to play.
Here's also a pic of what the dragon cards look like:
What I didn't like about it the first time I was playing  I got bored with it too.
another thing I didn't like about it, was it was kinda something I didn't like
to play even though it was the first time I had played dragon cards whatever it called.

In conclusion, I had a really good time in Mr. Carter's class and I
what like to stay in Mr. carter’s class
