how does electricity work

A current of electricity is a steady flow of electrons. When electrons move from one place to another, round a circuit, they carry electrical energy from place to place like marching ants carrying food for there colony. Instead of carrying food, electrons carry a tiny amount of electric charge.

so what did we learn? we learned that a flow of electrons controls the amount of electricity.
a light bulb turns electricity into light by sending the electric
current through a thin wire called a filament.

  1. Hi Kade, great to see that you have been doing some work over the break! I like your comment that electricity is a bit like a line of ants carrying food! I wonder if that line of ants we found at school is still there?
What have you been up to at home? it would be great to see some more posts of what you have been doing. You might like to try to design a tiny house - i klnow that is something you would be brilliant at! Ive put a video and some ideas to get you started on my blog markhhs@blogspot.com take a look and let me know if you come up with your own design!
