how does electricity work
A current of electricity is a steady flow of electrons. When electrons move from one place to another, round a circuit, they carry electrical energy from place to place like marching ants carrying food for there colony. Instead of carrying food, electrons carry a tiny amount of electric charge.
so what did we learn? we learned that a flow of electrons controls the amount of electricity.
a light bulb turns electricity into light by sending the electric
current through a thin wire called a filament.

Hi Kade, great to see that you have been doing some work over the break! I like your comment that electricity is a bit like a line of ants carrying food! I wonder if that line of ants we found at school is still there?
