The starfish poem has a deeper meaning as it means the even if your impact is small it is still important as it says in this text "there are miles and miles of beach and starfish all along with it You can't possibly make a difference!" The young man listened politely. Then bent down, picked up another starfish and threw it into the sea, past the breaking waves, and said- It made a difference for that one. This evidence that Your effet does matter and can influence others to help out. if we all had the mindset as the Wiseman nothing would ever get done and we would let the situation get too bad to turn around and eventually will lead to death to that species.
